So after almost a year of Frostgrave we’re now venturing into Warhammer 40.000 3rd edition.

Why 3rd? Because we (my friend and I) both own that rulebook. Combined we also have 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th edition. Which is an odd mix. So we are going to use 3rd and only core rule books for now.

He’ll be fielding what was in the 8th edition box on chaos marines. Of course some things weren’t a thing in 3rd edition  core rule book (Bloat Drones, Poxwalkers) so we will „count as“.  635 points on his side. Though I haven’t seen his list my guess is 1 general, 1 elite unit of 8 plague marines with 1 leader, two squads of 10 demon hordes and the bloat drone as Dreadnaught.

Coming up with a list is harder than I thought it would be. Mainly because I have *zero* ideas of what I actually currently have.

Is it inconsistent naming? Yes. Why? Because I only have the German Kodex (yes with a K for the Orks) and I’m too lazy to dig out „the real names“. Deal with it! 😉

I still need to make a list. And while I’m at it, I might as well do inventory of the other 40k minis I have flying around the place. Some ’nids, a bit of Chaos, Necrons and (of course) Space Smurfs.
