Dwarves brawling in Kaisers Palace!

Dwarves brawling in Kaisers Palace!

Since their introduction into the Casino, the Dwarves have taken over the place!

Since the likes of Tavern and Ronnie Salvage paved the way for Dwarven kind back in Kaiser Palaces’ early days, more ‘squat folk’ have joined. This week’s  Monday Motivation is thanks to the hard work of Chris McEwan and some of his recently painted miniatures. RUMBLESLAM is the wrestling game welcome to all gender, races, and orientations but most importantly welcome to all DWARVES!

MECHABJORN

Right so somebody (we’re blaming Chris) started a rumour that some kind of giant alien creature had invaded the Casino. Looking to kill the alien, Mechabjorn seems to have kitted out her suit to look like a P-5000-powered work loader. I love that Bjorn’s even wearing similar attire to Ripley from the Alien movie. Chris has done a great job painting the miniatures and the idea of combining miniatures and cult movies should be explored more.

Sonja Proudbeard

We said Kaiser’s Palace is open to all dwarves right? Not many wrestling fans realized that Sonja Proudbeard was in fact a female since beards are very good at hiding gender. An advocate for all dwarves, it makes sense that Sonja would be painted wearing attire similar to Nia Jax! Chris has done a fantastic job incorporating Jax’s dark-tone attire with golden trim into Sonja’s ring wear.

Mister Fister

So according to Chris, back in the mid-2000s a certain Mister Fister was a philanthropist playboy supplying weapons of mass destruction. This all changed when he become FISTER MAN! (cue the AC/DC) Yes, now armed with his giant fist of Tony starkness, Chris has transformed this once punching crazed Edward into a superhero! I love this idea and think the painting has been done to a great standard.

First Hairbender

Only the last hairbender can bring balance and order in a world of  knotted sections, dead ends,s and bald spots. Snorri Funderdome now has a beard that matches his friary temper and looks very impressive when paired with his tartan kilt. Not only has his beard changed, but Snorri has also embraced his bending powers and now sports a traditional hairbending tattoo on his forehead.

Thanks for sharing your work with us Chris!
