I Ain’t Been Shot Mum
The other set of rules I’m thinking of using with the Plastic Soldier Company figures and vehicles is I Ain’t Been Shot Mum. This was my top option for the Breakout into Brittany project but I’m now also considering it for the 5th DCLI in Normandy and beyond.
The box sets of British infantry and heavy weapons I’ve just acquired are enough for a full company in IABSM, unlike my Peter Pig figures, so it makes a lot of sense, especially if I speed paint the hundred or so figures required. I can then add the support units as I go along.
The only issue is the need to paint up the opposition, but I have enough plastic Battlefront German figures, guns and vehicles to make this feasible. I’ll take a look at the rule book and do some number crunching but this could be a nice summer project this year, if I get myself organized?
