I’ve organised another game of the club multiplayer WW1 aerial rules, Knights of the Sky, for the beginning of December. This will be a scenario set in December 1917 in the final days of the German counter-attack at Cambrai. I was going to do another ground attack, trench strafing scenario but I think I’ll just do a dawn patrol style game over the front lines. There are already plenty of players signed up and I’m looking forward to actually taking part this time, rather than just umpiring. I may even build a new 1/72nd scale model aircraft to fly, if I have the time, with a Fokker Dr1 Triplane as the number one option (I don’t actually have one of these in the collection, believe it or not).
