It was my day off today, so I tackled the first of the tank destroyers for the What a Tanker! late war US project, using the Armourfast kit and a spare Italeri M4A3 hull. The M36 was built straight out of the box bit I added some scratch built racks to either side using plastic card strip, so that it looked a bit more accurate. I really should add some more detailing bits to the right had side too but I did find a spare travel lock to attach to the back, as it is missing from the Armourfast kit. The M36B1 was a simple turret swap using the Armourfast open top turret on the Italeri hull, again with a travel lock added to the rear engine deck. I really should add a muzzle brake to this one but I can’t be bothered and a set of crew figures are the priority, if I can find some that is?
