When we started to playtest the rebels and patriots rules I really felt the need to be able to set up a quick game on the kitchentable so decided to get hold of some small minis like 6mm or 10mm, searched the web and in the end I decided to use the 8mm plastic minis from Perrys Travel Battle as they just had started to sell the sprues.

Said and done, ordered me 4 sprues of Minis as well as a sprue of Houses, quite cost effective as the red and blue forces and houses costed me £20 including P&P. I wanted to use my 1,2,3 basing but ended up to base them 3 minis to a base. It was a bit tricky to cut the minis apart as they are 5 on a strip, but nothing a steady hand and a sharp craftknife could not handle;)

I also made me a small gaming board using a 58×39 cork notiseboard „VÄGGIS“ for £4.95 from IKEA. Even if I really prefere 28mm minis, it all work fine to run som test games using cm´s instead of the usual inch.
