In a sign of increasing tension in the disputed border zone between Mbote and Zubuto, units of the Combined Regional African Peacekeeping force have pulled out of their positions at the Wtumbe bridge border crossing. In a brief press release, Major Short-Cummins, press liaison spokesman for the C.R.A.P. peacekeeping mission, stated that it was just “way too scary“ for any actual peace keeping in the zone, due to the arrival of Mbote Defence Force troops adjacent to the frontier.
