Showcase: Tabletop World Ruins
Painting Tabletop World buildings is always great. They are full of textures and details, so on the one hand you can go nuts with weathering techniques, on the other hand you have to keep those details and work them out so they’re not too hard to spot. This makes them more time intensive to paint than most terrain pieces, especially ruins are usually rife with details among those piles of rubble. Much more akin to forgeworld models than the old „just drybrush it“, which is the approach that comes to mind first when it comes to terrain (usually correctly so). Tabletop World kits are pricey, but they remain the best building kits I know. Highly recommanded.
