Treelord Ancient!?

Treelord Ancient!?

I should just not even look…

But I did. I checked in on Fenris Workshop’s used miniatures page last week sometime and they had a used treelord ancient for sale. Looked like it had been assembled and primed and then broke apart – just at the joins. Cheap glue? Maybe? Or perhaps it was just sub assemblies and was never fully assembled. Regardless, having built one previously, I was fairly certain all the bit where there (and if they weren’t… I have the left-over bits from TWO Treelord kits, I could bodge something together with!?)

Treelord Ancient

So… with the Treelord that came with the Sylvaneth Spearhead Army… and the kit slated to be assembled and painted as a Spirit of Durthu that came with the Outcast Spitegrove Battleforce Box… and now this Treelord Ancient… I will have ALL THREE types of Treelords?! (well… when I finish reassembling and painting this Treelord Ancient.. AND assemble and paint the Spirit of Durthu…). I’d been debating whether to build the new kit as a Spirit of  Durthu (as thematically intended for the Outcast Spitegrover) to build it as a Treelord Ancient. Now I don’t have to choose.

I’m pretty excited about getting all three up and going – especially this Treelord Ancient. The Treelord Ancient, in addition to being a big tough monster capable of taking some serious hits and dealing some frightful damage, it is also a WIZARD!
