A late birthday present turned up a few days ago in the shape of this new book on WW1 trench system construction for wargaming. It’s full of really good ideas and techniques, which I’d really like to try if I had a project on the go. The recently established FB group for Through the Mud and Blood has also inspired me to do something in this direction but it won’t be anytime soon!
