Warhammer Quest: Darkwater - Shaman Foulhoof and Pestigors

Warhammer Quest: Darkwater – Shaman Foulhoof and Pestigors

It became clear a few days ago, I wasn’t going to get all the Pestigors and Pox-Wretches done for the game on Tuesday… so I decided to focus on the Pestigors as Shaman Foulhoof – a Pestigor Shaman – is the „BOSS“ for Act I, I thought it would make sense that there’d be a lot of Pestigors roving around the first levels of the Jade Abbey…

Of the sixteen Encounter cards in Act I, it looks like five involve only Pestigors, four involved Pox-Wretches (so they really SHOULD be NEXT!!), four involve Mire Kelpies (which I’ve already done!) and three involve more than one hostile type (two of those include Pestigors – with either Cankerborn or Shaman Foulhoof!)! Also, two of the three possible Boss Battle cards include Pestigors – and all three Boss Battles feature Shaman Fouhoof – hence these seemed like the number one priority!! If I didn’t get the Pox-Wretches done for this first try at the game… it wouldn’t be the end of the world…

In the end, I did not get the Pestigors done either… but I DID get Shaman Foulhoof!!

Shaman Foulhoof

So I had the boss and some Mire Kelpies… I figured I could used some Plaguebringers if I ended up needing a replacement for the Pestigors… I’ll be sure to have the Pestigors AND the Pox-Wretched done for the next time we play!!

I still have Belga the Cystwitch, two Cankerborn, eight Pestigors, and fourteen Pox-Wretches, two treasure tokens, two living rot tokens and three heroes to finish up (Kelthannor, Drasher Vorn, and Jacobus Vyne with Wisper) for Warhammer Quest: Darkwater…

Shaman Foulhoof is comparable in size to other Maggotkin of Nurgle Heroes – like the Spoilpox Scrivener…

Shaman Foulhoof and Spoilpox Scrivener…

Probably should have dropped the Lord of Plagues in there as well… Ah, well… next time.
